Honest take: Wyzant is genuinely good at putting brand-new students in front of you — its search and lead flow are how a lot of tutors land their first clients, and it's free to list. ConviTutor is where you keep the students you already have — no commission on your lessons — with your own scheduling, video, and progress tracking; our built-in marketplace exists but is still growing, so bring your own students. Plenty of tutors use both: win first lessons on Wyzant, then run your regulars here.
Payouts go directly to your bank via Stripe. New accounts start with a 14-day hold for fraud protection, then speed up to 7 and 2 days as you complete lessons and build history — limits rise as you level up.
